Today we head home :( I'm going to miss Gatlinburg, and am already looking forward to going back in two years!
We woke up later this morning then we probably wanted to so we had to rush around to get ready and get everything packed and loaded into the car!
After checking out of the motel, we had planned on going to the Log Cabin Pancake House again for breakfast, however when we pulled up, the line was out the door, so we didn't stay. We were both hungry and didn't want to wait. We ended up eating at the Red Rooster Pancake House and it was yummy, if not better, than the Log Cabin. Excellent choice!
After breakfast we stopped at the Three Bears General Store to look around and buy any last minute souvenirs. I forgot how big and fun that store is.
After stopping for gas, we were finally on the road back home. We stopped outside of Nashville to have lunch at Demos' with Wendie and Pedro, and then we were back on the road towards home. I'm not sure exactly what time we got home, but the drive home sure went a lot faster than the drive to Gatlinburg.
Goodbye Gatlinburg....see you in two years!
