Saturday Fun Day

Saturday morning I got a hankering for Sandy's pizza buffet.  I invited Heather and Zoe to go with me cause they love Sandy's just as much as I do!  We got there early and the place was dead :(  There was one couple already there and then another couple came in while we were there.  This was not good for us cause the buffet didn't get replenished often.  While the food was good, I've come to the conclusion that ordering off the menu is much better!

Later Saturday evening we headed back over to the Robinson's for dinner and to hang out.  I figured since we weren't going to be gone that long that I would take Hershey and Reese with us.  We obviously don't take the dogs for car rides often enough because they can't sit still in the car!  LOL!! Reese was cracking me up sitting in the back window!

We had yummy corn on the cob, grilled hot dogs, and smoked chicken for dinner!  The Robinson-Bell's were hard at work before we got there putting up corn for the year.

Pink Flamingos

Last Thursday evening, I went to my friend Heather's to paint flamingos.  I've seen them before on Etsy and loved them and had been wanting to paint them for a while.  I scheduled a class at Snickerdoodles to paint the watermelon slice for my front door for summer.  Then a few days before the class, Heather messaged me that Bowen was cutting out the flamingos and asked me if I wanted to paint one.  I told her no cause I was going to paint my watermelon slice.  Then later she messaged me that the flamingos were really cute.  I told her if she had a no-show, I'd buy their spot.  She informed me that they had a couple extra. HAHA! I'm glad I went.  She's the cutest little flamingo ever!!

Happy 4th of July

Happy Independence Day!

We celebrated the 4th of July with family and friends this year.  Shawn's parent's were in town and he spent the morning golfing with them, Bro. Heard, Robin, Brian and Dan.  I spent the morning making potato salad for a cookout we were going too, and straightening up the house.  I also went and got my piggies painted with a fun fireworks design.

Everyone ended up at the Robinson's around 2:30 p.m. (Shawn and his parents came later) for an afternoon/evening of food, fun and friends!  The weather on the 4th was absolutely amazing!!  We all had a great time sitting outside talking and visiting, eating lots of delicious food, hitting golf balls into the field, making homemade ice cream, and getting pedicures and "messages" by Zoe!

Around 8:00 p.m. we started the cleanup of the afternoon's mess and we all headed to the Rockport Park to watch the fireworks.  I ended up sitting with my sister and her family and that hot little mess nephew of mine, Gavin!  Zoe and her friend joined us and three of them erupted into giggles galore!!

Saturday Funday!

On this particular Saturday I picked up Gavin and we spent the day playing at the park with Zoe and Kassidy.  Then headed to the Robinson Farm to play with Miss Kitty and Zoe and pick up golf balls from the field.  And ended the evening with Sandy's pizza and playing putt-putt and laser tag!
