RIP Gary Minton

RIP Papa Bear!  My best friend's dad passed away last Friday afternoon.  He had pneumonia and just didn't recover from it.  His tragic death was a shock to all.  I pray that God sends his comforting peace to my best friend Misty and her family.  I met Misty when I was 16, we both worked at Schnuck's, and we've been best friends every since.  For quite a few years, we were inseparable.  Wherever one was, you could always find the other.  And if we weren't at each other's house, we were on the phone with each other.  I spent lots of time at Misty's and became really close with her family.  Her dad was such a comedian and was always doing things to make us laugh.  I remember one of the first times I was over there, they were eating dinner and I was sitting in the living room.  The next thing I knew, a chicken leg went flying across the living room.

Misty's brother Micah was the officiant that did Gary's funeral and he did an AMAZING job with it.  Every story that was told, I remembered and it brought back such great memories.  Gary was a true Christian and led many to the Lord.  He will be greatly missed, but I know today he is where he has lived his life to be; dancing on the streets of gold in Glory!
