Saturday afternoon we went to the Refuge Christian Church's Summer Event. We actually went twice. We went in the afternoon for a little bit so Gavin could play games and bounce in the bounce houses, and then we went back later in the evening with Uncle Shawn to hear Jimmy DeTalente and his band play music and then to eat supper and so that Gavin could play some more.
There was a dunking booth, dart pop, ring toss, face painting, bounce houses, free haircuts for kids, free backpacks with school supplies, food, prize giveaways, and live music. It was also great seeing old friends and having a great time of fellowship.
