Ahhhh, she finally arrived!
I first heard about the Erin Condren product line probably in early November sometime. I was actually online looking for an address book for my Christmas cards and came across the address books in her product line. I liked it, but it wasn't what I was looking for. I looked around her website and really liked her Life Planner though. But it was $50. Wasn't sure if I wanted to spend $50 on a calendar. I signed up for her website and got a $10 off coupon code. I still contemplated and then took the plunge. It took FOREVER for it to come in. It felt like months, but was really only weeks, but still too long! I was stalking my email and stalking the tracking number daily, sometimes multiple times a day. I even called the post office a couple times to see if they had it yet.
Then she arrived....on my front porch...the day that Gavin and Zoe had their sleepover. I opened her up and looked at her, but didn't really get a chance to play with her until a couple days later.
I joined a couple different FB groups for this planner and have become sucked into their madness. HAHA! Maybe I'll blog about that in another entry!
But for now, let the unboxing begin!
Inside was not only the planner, but a coupon for $10 off any future purchase, an envelope full of personalized stickers, and a booklet of the EC product line along with a coupon for $15 of a $50 purchase.
Here she is. My very first, and certainly not my last, Erin Condren Life Planner. I chose the cover and what I wanted it to say. Not very creative huh? Since the covers on this one are removable, I've got my eye on a new one already, plus there is lots of tutorials out there on how to make your own.
WORK HARD. PLAY HARD.
I love that this is in here because this is my new motto.
Shawn and I both work hard, and we are blessed to be able to play hard!
I love that this little yearly calendar is here. I plan on using it to keep track of when every women's favorite "Aunt" stops by to visit {insert sarcasm here}!
There is a monthly calendar for each month which I plan to use to keep track of birthday and anniversaries, and to log when I send cards.
And behind each monthly calendar are the weekly calendars. There are spaces for morning, noon, and night appointments, a spot for weekly goals and notes, and room at the bottom for meal planning, exercise logs, quotes, notes, etc. The list is endless!
After the monthly/weekly calendar pages, there are lined and blank note pages with decoration on each page. So far I've only got my washi samples back here, but I plan to use it for weight tracking, meal plan ideas, list making, and whatever else I can think of.
There is also a 2 year at a glance calendar for 2016 and 2017. It's crazy to type those dates!! I remember when the big Y2K was about to hit!
There are also two pages of calendar stickers - a set with preprinted labels and a set with blank labels.
Behind the labels is a two-pocket folder with a perpetual calendar in it.
There is also a removable ruler.
And then the back cover.
Below is the perpetual calendar that was in the pocket folder. While I like it, I must say that I was super bummed about it. I guess in the past, the pages in this calender were actually in the planner. When I watched a video on this planner it showed them in the planner and that was one of the things I really liked about the EC life planner.
So there she is. My very first Erin Condren Life Planner. I'm excited that I ordered her, and I am using her daily as a diary/journal in addition to a calendar. The groups on FB I belong to have alot of inspiration for planning and designing with her....maybe too much. HAHA! I know I've spent well more than the cost of her buying stickers, note pads, washi tape, and pens. Alot of it bring me back to my childhood days of stickers, pen pals and snail mail.
