We just got back from a little mini-vacation to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, TN. We went with Heather and Bowen Robinson and the kids and Bowen's parent's, Owen and Kathy. Shawn and I had our own cabin and then they all shared a bigger cabin up the hill from us. Even though the trip was short, we still had a great time and got to do some of our favorite things. Shawn golfed once, we shopped in Gatlinburg one day, we drove out to Cades Cove and we hung out with some friends in the hot tub.
Our cabin's name was Dreamland and it truly was a relaxing cabin. This was the first time we had ever stayed in a cabin while in the area and I can tell you it won't be the last. Here are a few pictures of the weekend.

Chillaxin' in Destin
Shawn and I went to Destin, Florida for the week of June 14 through 21 and had a GREAT vacation. The weather was perfect, the condo was relaxing and the water was cool. Even though we did lots and were on the go lots, we still spent some relaxing time at the beach. Shawn went fishing and golfing and on those days, I either relaxed in the condo or did some relaxation shopping. We swam in the ocean and relaxed on the beach, we went shopping, we went out to dinner, we went to the Gulfarium and we just drove around. Destin is a great place to go. It's not that far of a drive, they have beautiful white sand and emerald green water. Our last day at the beach was perfect. The waters were very calm and we just floated around in the ocean on our floats and then relaxed under the shade of our beach umbrella. I'm defintely looking forward to going back next year.

Mimi and Gavin
Another Taggie Blanket
Anytime Gavin is over, HB is always trying to steal his white burp rag. I don't know what it is with that dog, but he's always trying to eat the white toilet paper and then this burp rag. So I asked my mom to get him one the next time she is out yard saleing. Well she had some old scrap material and decided to make him his own taggie blanket. He loves it and carries it around with him quit often. But now that I am typing this, I realize that I haven't seen it in a while. Hunt for the taggie has just been added to the to-do list now.
Buddies
I kept Gavin for an entire weekend in May while Beth and Tommy moved. That was a tiring weekend for them and for me. LOL!! But it was so much fun, at least I thought so. While I had Monkey, we went to visit Zoe. Here are a few pictures from that trip.
Hello??
Looks like it's been awhile since I blogged last. I've kind of gotten out of the habit of it and haven't had time to actually sit down and do it. I guess I've probably had time, as I'm always on the computer, just too lazy to do it is probably more like it. Shawn and I have been busy working. When we aren't working, we are either running around with errands, or at church, or on vacation (where I would love to be now!). So what all has been going on with us you ask? In May Shawn had throat surgery and has been healing well with that. We've helped Beth move into her new apartment. We've had lots of fun sleepovers keeping Gavin and watching him grow more and more each time we see him. We're taking care of our furbabies...Molly and Clifford are just keeping to themselves and Hershey is keeping us on our toes. That dog is ROTTEN and in to more than he should be. We took a vacation last month to Destin, Florida and it was a much needed vacation. We are getting ready for another little getaway next weekend to the Gatlinburg area with some friends of ours, so that will be fun. We are still TTC, but with no luck. I'm trying not to get discouraged, but it's hard. Let's see, what else? I'm sure there is more, infact, I know there is. I just can't seem to think of it at 6:30 in the morning. Once I get finished with this entry, I'll blog about some of the event's I just listed. So that's what we've been up too in a nutshell.
